The growing consumption of goat’s milk in Chile has led to different measures being carried out to produce milk throughout the year, depending on the demand of the end consumer.
This is stated by our Veterinary Technician Toni Adsuara in the article published in the DLeche Magazine this March, who highlights the management of photoperiod, the synchronization of heat, as well as artificial insemination or pregnancy diagnosis as essential tools to fight against seasonality in dairy goats.
